The JBR 6 set of small bromides was usually distributed in tabas (hanging bundles) containing four card, 2x2 panels. First, second and third prize winning panels found in the taba entitled the bearer to select a larger, uncut sheet of JBR 6 cards from a display sheet like this one. While JBR 6 cards in general are not scarce, JBR 6 display sheets are rare! This is one of the few display sheets from JBR 6 that we have encountered. The three first prize uncut sheets each contain 80 cards. The six second prize sheets each contain 16 cards. Lastly, the sixteen third prize sheets each contain eight cards. Thus, in total, there are a whopping 464 cards on the display sheet, including seven complete 66 card sets. As is the rule with display sheets of nearly any set, the first prize cards are not attached to the sheet. However, the second and third prize cards are attached with glue.

The JBR 6 set contains 22 cards of Japan HOFers including Sadaharu Oh (2 diff.), Shigeo Nagashima (3 diff.), Wally Yonamine (Hawaii), Isao Harimoto (2 diff.), Tetsuya Yoneda, Shinichi Eto, Kenjiro Tamiya (2 diff.), Motoshi Fujita, Yoshinori Hirose, Katsuya Nomura, Tadashi Sugiura (2 diff.), Kazuhisa Inao, Yasumitsu Toyoda, Masaaki Koyama, Minoru Murayama and Yoshio Yoshida. That's over 150 cards of Hall of Fame members in this lot! Also, cards of North Americans Chico Barbon, Joe Stanka and Mike Solomko.

Size: Each card is 15/16" x 1 1/2". The display sheet is 24 1/2" x 34 3/4". .

Condition: Some cards have browned a bit, but most would be Nm/Mt or Mint if removed from the display and cut into individual cards or 4 in 1s. The paper sheet contains some tears and a bit of missing paper, especially at right, but the paper has retained its original lustre.
