We have never seen a card from this set of round menko before now. Thus, this is the only known copy in existence. Toshiharu Inokawa, a catcher/first baseman, was born in 1908 in Okayama Prefecture. After starring for Kansai Middle School in the mid-1920s, he enrolled at Meiji U. of the Tokyo Big Six University League and by the time of his graduation in 1932, he had become one of the top hitters in the league. For the next eight years, he played industrial league baseball, taking time out in 1934 to join the All Nippon team that played against Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and the other U.S. All Stars during their Tour of Japan. Inokawa was the leading hitter for the Japanese team on the Tour, batting .348 and hitting a home run. In 1940, he joined Japan Pro Baseball as player/manager for the Hankyu Braves. After World War II, he moved to the Tokyu Flyers, where he served as manager. Later, Inokawa became a Pacific League umpire. Blank backed card.
