This is much the nicer of the two known examples of this card. Sakae Nakajima was a right fielder for Rikkio U. of the Japanese Big Six University League in the late 1920s and early 1930s. After playing as a reserve in Fall 1928, he burst onto the scene in Spring 1929 with a .393 batting average. He followed that up by hitting .304 in Fall 1929. He tailed off to a .255 average in Spring 1930, and subsequently served only as a part time player.
