This card depicts the all time great player and manager as a member of the Keio U. team, where he starred both at third base and pitcher. In 1934, he played on the All Japan team against the touring U.S. All Stars led by Babe Ruth and
Lou Gehrig. When Japan Pro Baseball began in 1936, he was a member of the Yomiuri Giants. Mizuhara was league MVP in 1942. During World War II, he was captured and spent four years in Siberia as a POW. From 1950 to 1960 as
Giants manager, he led the team to eight pennants and four Japan Series titles. This example is green tinted and blank backed.
