This is a rare program produced during the first year of Japan Pro Baseball. The program was printed for the games of the 7th, 8th and 9th of October between the Hankyu team and the Osaka Tigers played at Takarazuka Stadium. The
cover page contains this information along with the team logos. The interior pages contain team photos of both clubs in their 1936 uniforms, along with team rosters. Shuichi Ishimoto (HOF), who had just been appointed to the job, is listed
as Tigers manager, and he was not the manager during the earlier Spring/Summer 1936 season. Numerous other Japan Hall of Fame members and other luminaries are listed on the team rosters including Hankyu manager Daisuke
Miyake. Also, HOFers Fumio Fujimura, Henry Wakabayashi (Hawaii), Kenjiro Matsuki, Minoru Yamashita and Saburo Miyatake are listed. In addition, Americans Jimmy Horio and Masao Furukawa (Hawaii) are listed. The back page
contains scorecards and a promotion for future Japan Pro Baseball games to be played on October 23-25 at the same stadium.
Size: 5" x 7 1/2", 4 pages
Condition: Would be Vg/Ex but has some numbers handwritten in pencil on the interior pages.
