Wally Yonamine (1925-2011) enjoyed 12 incredible seasons with the Yomiuri Giants and Chunichi Dragons. He was the 1957 Central League MVP as well as an eight time all-star. This signed photo of the Hawaiian born Japan Hall of Famer was produced by the Baseball Magazine Company, makers of the BBM baseball cards. Yonamine signed the photo in English with the inscription "HOF-'94" in silver marker. The regular edition of this autographed photo was limited to 100 numbered copies. This rare example is an artist proof numbered AP1 at lower right. There were only five artist proofs produced.
