Five games of the New York Mets' 1974 Tour of Japan were played at Korakuen Stadium. This one page, double sided flyer was issued to promote the games. The top portion of the front page is a Mets franchise history. Directly below this text are the faces of (left to right) Yogi Berra, Tom Seaver, Jerry Koosman and Rusty Staub. The bottom portion of the page contains a discussion of the Mets written by Yomiuri Giants coach and Japan Hall of Fame member, Shigeru Makino. The back lists the schedule, ticket prices and locations for purchasing tickets. This is only the second time we have ever offered an example of this flyer. This one is high grade, while the other was in much weaker condition.
