We have never before offered this scorecard at auction, nor have we ever seen it! This double sided sheet, which may be folded in half, has a scorecard in the center, and an advertisement on the cover, in red, white and blue, for a clothing company. The games being promoted are the four contests played at Jingu Stadium on December 4, 5, 10 and 11. "Japan-U.S. Big Baseball War" is splashed across the front of the ad in bold red Japanese text. The American and Japanese flags are displayed in the upper corners. At bottom center, Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx and Lou Gehrig are pictured from left to right along with their facsimile autographs. The bottom of the scorecard has the complete rosters for both teams printed along the bottom. The Japanese team roster includes HOFers Victor Starffin, Masao Date, Jiro Kuji, Minoru Yamashita, Osamu Mihara, Shigeru Mizuhara, Hisanori Karita, Naotaka Makino, Nobuaki Nidegawa and Haruyasu Nakajima. The American roster includes Connie Mack, Buck Newsom (not on Tour), Lefty Gomez, George Kelly, Moe Berg, Lou Gehrig, Charlie Gehringer, Jimmie Foxx, Heinie Manush (not on Tour), Earl Averill, and of course Babe Ruth.
