During our nearly 30 years in business, we have previously offered only one JCM 13a uncut sheet at auction. In fact, it was the example shown at left, and the year was 2003. 14 years later, it has been consigned by the original purchaser, and we are pleased to offer it again, along with a companion sheet from the same set. The complete set consists of 60 cards, so 2/3 of the set is represented in this lot. Cards on the left hand sheet include Hall of Famers Sadaharu Oh (third row left), Isao Harimoto--the only Japan Pro Baseball player to amass 3,000 hits (third row center), Katsuya Nomura--657 HR (bottom row center), Masaaki Koyama--320 wins (second row right) and Tetsuya Yoneda-- 350 wins (top row, second from right). Also American star Joe Stanka (bottom row left) and Hawaiian Eddie Takei (bottom row, second from right). Other players are Kitsugi, Kuwata, Fujio, Owada, Oishi (Carp), Ito, Kawamura, Yanagida, Hiroshima, Bizen, Takeshita, Miyake and Oishi (Whales). The right hand sheet contains five Hall of Famers: Kihachi Enomoto (top row left), Minoru Minayama (top row second from left), Shinichi Eto (top row second from right), Kazuhisa Inao (bottom row second from left) and Motoshi Fujita (bottom row second from right). Also, American Mike Solomko (bottom row right). Others are Inoue, Horimoto, Mori, Hakota, Takakura, Suzuki, Moroki, Moritaki, Funada, Iio, Okitsu, Murata, Kondo and Ota.

Size: Each card is 1 13/16" x 3". The uncut sheets are each 8 15/16" x 12".

Condition: Left sheet--Chipping at lower right (Oishi-Wh). Rounded corner and dirt at upper right (Owada). All other cards are Nm/Mt or Mint including Oh and all other HOFers and North Americans. Right sheet--Dirt at upper right (Horimoto). Corner touches. All other cards Nm/Mt.
