For decades it was thought that this set was produced in 1952. However, in checking the uniforms which the players are wearing and the actors involved, we feel that a 1948 date for this sheet would be more accurate. The eight card menko sheet features four baseball players (from left) Kaoru Betto (HOF), Victor Starffin (HOF), Tetsuharu Kawakami (HOF) and Takeshi Doigaki. The other four cards depict actors.

Size: Each card is 1 1/2" x 2 3/8". The uncut sheet is 11 7/8" x 2 3/8".

Condition: The sheet is Near Mint. The three HOFer cards would be Nm/Mt if cut from the sheet.
