This lot is incredible! Cards straight from the pack (recently opened) from the earliest known Japanese baseball set ever produced with actual player images. Now add the fact that the set has a scarcity factor of R5 in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition by Gary Engel. That means that three or fewer examples of most cards in the set are known. While none of the players in the lot are Hall of Famers, most were top players for their respective teams. (top row, left to right) Ryozo Yamada--Waseda U., Shoji Nakatsukawa--Meiji U., Kazuo Momose--Rikkio U., Herai--Meiji U. (bottom row, left to right) Shimao--Hosei U., Nishimura--Waseda U., Fujii--Hosei U., Shoichiro Tase--Waseda U

Size: Each card is 1 1/2" x 5 1/4"

Condition: Nm to Mint. Straight from the pack.
